Objectives
Continue to develop and deliver the FORWARD to Professorship workshop
for women assistant professors in science and engineering.
Accomplishments
Developed a new writing component for the FORWARD to Professorship workshop
and developed a 4- year retrospective survey based the participants
from 2003-2006. Also, developed a NIH funding initiative for additional
life sciences participants, and a component on stress management and
career achievement motivation.
This project is ongoing.
55 participants met in Washington, D.C., for FORWARD to Professorship in May 2007.
