On 19 April 2003, a squall line moved across Oklahoma during the morning (06-14 UTC).
During the afternoon, convective cells formed over north-northwestern Oklahoma (19:28-21:59 UTC)
and east of KOUN, ahead of the dry line (20:34-21:59).
Radar Operations:
Start time: 00:03 4/19/03 UTC (19:03 4/18/03 local time)
Stop time: 21:59 4/19/03 UTC (16:59 4/19/03 local time)
Radar/Operational Status:
Hydrometeor Classification Algorithm: Not run to date.
Operational Delivery:
Technical difficulties with polarimetric algorithms limited the polarimetric variables and
products available to the NWS. Missing variables included ZDR and KDP. Since hydrometeor
classification is strongly dependent on ZDR, the hydrometeor classification algorithm was not run in real-time.
