Forecast/Weather:

On 5 May 2002, polarimetric signatures indicated biological scatterers around KOUN in clear air from 2:24-8:50 UTC (Figs. 1-3). By 20:55 UTC, convective cells developed east of KOUN, with polarimetric hail signatures by 22:26 UTC (2nd set Figs. 1-4).

Polarimetric signatures indicate hail at 0.5 deg elevation at 4:28 UTC 4 May 2003 in all echoes, with the best signatures within the cells closet to KOUN.
