On 6 June 2003, a northeast-to-southwest-oriented squall line developed over
northwest Oklahoma and moved southeastward across Oklahoma. While moving
over KOUN, polarimetric signatures indicated the presence of biological
scatterers both ahead of and behind the squall line between 2:14-8:40 UTC (see Figs. below).
