Welcome to my home page. I am a research meteorologist with the University of Oklahoma/Cooperative Institute for Mesoscale Meteorological Studies (OU/CIMMS). My office is located at the University of Oklahoma research park (near Max Wesheimer airport) at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration/National Severe Storms Laboratory (NOAA/NSSL), where I work with NSSL and CIMMS meteorologists, physicists, and engineers in the NSSL Radar Research and Development Division. Broadly, my research interests are radar meteorology, cloud physics, and atmospheric electricity (and a recent emphasis on understanding the effect of natural drop size distribution variability on polarimetric radar estimates of precipitation rate). These interests are described in more detail in the following pages.
