Heather Reeves Wins AMS Award

CIMMS Scientist Heather Reeves, a researcher with NOAA’s National Severe Storms Laboratory, received an award for her service to the American Meteorological Society at the organization’s 17th Conference on Mountain Meteorology. The conference was held June 27 – July 1, 2016 in Burlington, Vermont, and featured groundbreaking research related to orographic weather phenomena. Heather was honored for her work in initiating and organizing a webinar series on mountain meteorology.
